The Lisbon Central School provides this information on peanut/nut free snacks and foods as a courtesy and for informational purposes only.  The School does not and cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information or that the food products listed below are safe for each student.  The School cannot guarantee the elimination of allergens from the school environment, and the School, its employees, and its agents are not responsible for determining food allergens and/or those foods or ingredients in foods that are safe for a student with an identified food allergy to consume.  As set forth in the Board Policy 5141.25, parents and guardians are responsible for determining food allergens and/or those foods or ingredients in foods that are safe for their child with an indentified food allergy to consume.  Students with identified food allergies are expected not to eat any food item that has not come from home or been approved by their parent or guardian. To be sure that a product is safe and free of specific allergens, parents and guardians of students must read the food label carefully as manufacturing conditions and ingredients are subject to change.  The School (and the Lisbon Board of Education, its employees or agents) does not make any representations as to the accuracy of this information, and the School does not accept any liability for any inaccuracies or omissions in the content of this information, or for any loss, damage, injury, cost or expense caused by reliance, use or interpretation of this information by a parent or student, even if caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the School, its employees and its agents.
